webmaster All or none I think. You send it at the end of senior year I think when you take the AP exams. OR if you are not taking any, you can still send em. Just contact the AP people.

ZAK2012 I'm a junior and I don't particularly care about the exams for placement in college. So how much would a bad AP grade matter? I'm probably looking at a 2 or 3 in stat

webmaster No one really knows the answer to this question.
My guess is that if there's a discrepancy between your AP scores and your class grade, that might say something about how hard your class was or how much you tried.
2 or 3? You can always cancel a score right after you take it i think.

ZAK2012 Its a difficult situation. I have an A in my Stat AP course, but it was made so easy and my teacher was awful and didn't do know what he was talking about most of the time. I've been struggling a lot with all the practice I have been doing.

If I can cancel it right after the test, does that mean I can cancel just that one? I'm taking US History and Biology later on, and I'm confident I'll do well on those, which I why I don't what to not send those.

webmaster Hm....well my friend last year canceled his AP chem exam score right after he took it. I don't think he was taking any other aps at that time. You might want to read the cancelation policy before taking the exame.

Here's the bit on cancelation from collegeboard:
Grade Cancellation

Grade cancellation deletes an AP Exam grade permanently from your records. Grades may be canceled at any time. However, for grades not to appear on the current year's grade report, AP services must receive a signed letter requesting cancellation by June 15. While there is no fee for this service, your exam fee is not refunded. The grade report that you and your school receive will indicate that the grade has been canceled.

It's from http://www.collegeboard.com/student/testing/ap/exgrd_rep.html

ZAK2012 Thanks, but I'm not sure what that means

webmaster O heh. it means the grade won't be there, (and I guess this implies you can cancel individual grades) but the college will know that you have canceled that grade because they will receive that notification. What a messed up system

ZAK2012 But I'm a junior so no college could receive that notification...

ZAK2012 Just as an update, I failed it. I didn't know anything. I'm just floored

maxmg64 Listen dont bother about the bad AP after all it is the first year of college (for most courses and colleges). However your Ivy League chances probably decreased. My advice is cancel it and retake it (unless you got a 3 or higher).
