Pandora When you submit part I of a school's application (the general personal information), an alumni should contact you, or you will be given information on how to set an interview up and a list of interviewers around your area.

Policies and deadline for interviews vary by school, so check each specific school's website. Generally interviews should be done before november.

mediocreme You can do interviews any time the school offers them. I agree with Pandora, just look it up on their website or call the school to ask about them. I'm sure those'll give you the answers you need.

WHARTONWay I went online but I can only find the interviewer's home address or something. I contacted the admission office by e-mail but still no reply..

FutureDoctor If it's for Ivy League schools then it is mandatory but it is a great way to show your true self.

Schmivy it's not mandatory at all the Ivies. Columbia doesn't require it. I know Harvard does, though. I don't know about the other ones, just those two.

webmaster It depends on the college and the interviewer.

My interviewer emailed me to make an appointment.

MIT requires you to call the person who appears on your profile on the mit admissions site.

Some interviewers call you directly.
