Question: At heavy Math/Engineering schools like MIT, could an 800 on Math Level 2 SAT II cover for a 750 on the SAT Math - Post a Response

PsychoLord13 I ask because I know SAT I is generally considered more important than the SAT II but I'm better at advanced math than I am at the weird math on the SAT I. I got a 750 on the SAT Math (below average for say, MIT or Caltech) but it looks like I'm almost definitely going to get an 800 on Math Level 2

azzajack Sorry to tell you, but A LOT of people get 800's on Math Level II,
it is not the ideal way to stand out, consider focusing on your other admission factors

sarvshreshth The above poster is correct. You will have to look beyond that. For MIT 800 on Math 2 is no excuse because the curve is just so very lenient.
